I understand that buying light bulbs on- line can be a crap shoot, with bulbs arriving broken ( happened to me with an earlier order of bulbs, but the Amazon vendor promptly remedied the issue) and one needs to be careful with pricing since often times the same bulbs can be found in your area brick and mortar for much less cost. In this case, however, the bulbs were very well packaged and arrived with every bulb intact. The cost was extremely reasonable at the time I purchased them and the ones I have used have all worked. Obviously, I have not tested all of them so this summary is based on the fact that they arrived in what appears upon cursory inspection to be perfect condition and the ones I have installed have been fine. They were just as the vendor described and so far I have no complaints. There were a lot of bulbs, so it is certainly possible to find some defective ones, but I believe I could just as likely have the same experience with bulbs bought locally, but at a higher cost.

All in all, I am very satisfied with the purchase, product and vendor. That is the reason for the 5 stars.

Great Beginner Headphone

I admit that I can be a total headphone snob and I own an array of cans, amps, and DACs which would certainly confirm that snobbishness. Indeed, when faced with a trip during that I knew would be abusive to any set of headphones (horrendous weather, constant stress on the cans' cable, and, perhaps worst of all, sharing my headphones with a 2-year-old), I bought these headphones with the assumption that they were disposable.

Well the Sony MDR-ZX100 proved me wrong on all accounts! They withstood all manner of abuse and came through without a blemish on them!

I was even more shocked that any headphones this inexpensive could sound so good. I choose the Sony's because I have enough familiarity with Sony headphones to know that they are very clean. The Sony MDR-ZX-100's were not only incredibly free from both distortion and from any artificial coloring to the sound that I was simply amazed. The staging, that is, the sense of where the sound is perceived was excellent: it was roomy and open. The Sony's mid-range and tweeter were rich and had more depth than I expected. The bass, although quite discernable, was not as pure nor powerful as the mid and upper ranges -- but I had no expectation that the bass would be as good as it is.

If you are locking for an inexpensive set of headphones for movie viewing or for listening to music at moderate volume, these Sony's are great. I would add that if your musical preference is for a rocking bass, no headphones in this price range will satisfy you. For the price, I don't think there is better headphone that the Sony. My only quibble is that, at these are not foldable headphones, some sort of storage bag would have been very much welcomed. Aside from that minor point, I am thoroughly delighted with my Sony MDR-ZX100 headphones.

I am a 30 year Automotive Technician and I am well versed in wiring and circuit testing. I purchased this item along with a Hoppy Endurance 7 RV blade vehicle connector for a wiring rehab project on my 20' trailer, what I got was a headache. After striping the trailer of all old wiring I installed the Hopkins 20146 cable to a wiring junction block and made all necessary and proper color coded connections being very careful to make sure all are correct. To my surprise nothing worked properly, after some testing with a Fluke multimeter and double checking. What I found was the Hopkins 20146 8' 7 RV blade molded trailer cable wired to old style color code, not one color was located for a Hoppy 7 RV connection as shown on their website.

Well put together product but wire color coding is not for Hoppy 7 RV blade current color coding. BE AWARE OF THIS IF YOU PURCHASE!!!

UPDATE!! I contacted Hoppy Technical Support they informed me that ALL! molded harness's are wired to the OLD STYLE color coding. I informed them that their website does not specify this, when you choose to view the trailer wiring from the items page it shows new style color coding. HOPPY PLEASE FIX THIS!!

It does what it was designed to do - run screaming fast in a USB-3 port. I long/full formatted the entire 64GB unit as NTFS in 8 minutes using an EVGA PC motherboard SuperSpeed USB-3 port (completed 8GB/min or 133MB/sec , Bytes, not bits) - that's like writing about a full CD worth of data in 5 seconds! That is writing (not faster reading) at about 22% the maximum theoretica; USB-3 bus speed. In comparison, it takes a regular 4GB USB-2 Kingston G3 ($5) stick 15 minutes for the same operation (32x slower). If you can afford a new PC or laptop with USB-3 ports, you must also have one of these to make good use of that port. It is worth noting that after the massive 64GB high-speed format, the stick was very warm and surprised me when I grabbed it to extract it from the port - guess that's what all that blue cooling metal wrap is for! The 133MB/sec format speed is right at the advertised write speed, so I'm not sure about some reviewers' complaints of mis-advertising, even though I recognize "real data writing" could be slower for multiple files or many small files. At some point, it becomes difficult to go any faster because you cannot adequately dissipate the heat. Recommended if needed, and if affordable - esp. for frequent and/or very large file transfers. Kingston makes great memory products of many types to suit many use and price-point needs. Hyper-X 3.0 is their new flagship, replacing their previous Hyper-X USB-2 unit (which I also own). As is often true, Amazon rocks again with the best price - thanks!

We followed the directions and put a small amount in each plant, and within three weeks there were no more fungus gnats either in the plants or in the house. This is after months of trying other methods.

I should note that the second infestation was not due to a recurrence of the previous one, but because we re-potted some plants with another bag of tainted mix.

I would highly recommend this product for ridding plants of fungus gnats. Now if I can just find a better potting mix...

Best Book/Crafts Light Ever

I have used this booklight to read both regular paperbacks as well as the Amazon Kindle in a pitch black room while lying in bed. It works great. As another reviewer has noted, although there are two LEDs, one is more than sufficient for reading.

The light has a clip that securely and conveniently attaches to a paperback or the Kindle cover, and the gooseneck on the light can easily be adjusted to whatever angle you like. I get just the right coverage on the page, and unlike an incandescent light, this light is easy on the eyes.

The off/on button is conveniently located and by default starts with two LEDs, but with another quick click you can select just one, and then turn it off with another click. It's all very simple.

I have used several booklights in the past, and must say that for ease of use and quality of the light, this is the best one by far.

I've learned by trial and error with this product. I initially bought it for my knees and some acne discolorations on my face. I initially used it twice daily on both areas, and what it did was actually make my discolorations worse! My skin peeled, turned kinda raw and irritated, and that made the skin even darker than it was before. I was just about done with this product, until I decided to use it in moderation.

I started using it once daily and sometimes every other day, and my God did I start to see improvement! This product is the first fading/brightening product that has actually ever worked for me. I haven't worn skirts or shorts for most of my life because of my dark knees and Xtreme Brite completely diminished that. For the first time this summer I'll be able to show my legs and it's really life changing. Also, my acne marks are completely gone! My face hasn't been this clear in such a long time! This product in itself is life changing and it actually works.

The author of the book tackles a important topic that you typically do not find and I have to commend him for that. I encourage all women to read this, but even more so, all fathers to read this.

Lori Foster's latest novel, Bare It All, was so good that I had to try hard not to read the whole book in one sitting. It was packed full of fast paced action, lots of steamy, romantic scenes, and it included Lori's classic brand of hunky, sexy, heroes. After reading the first book in this series, Run the Risk, last year, I was waiting with bated breath for this next installment. I must say that Lori more than delivered with this one. I loved the fact that Bare It All picked up at the precise point where Run the Risk ended, so any lingering questions that I had from the last book were all answered in this one.

Honorable, job focused, and protective Detective Reese Bareden was the perfect counterpart to the ever elusive and a little bit strange Alice Appleton (whom we first met in Trace of Fever). I could feel their chemistry from the first page of the book. Despite the suspense and intrigue resulting from the very serious situation they found themselves in, it was the steamy and sometimes funny interaction between Alice and Reese that made this story great. I also enjoyed the interactions with the supporting cast, especially Rowdy!

This book provided something for everyone. For first time Lori Foster readers, it was a great introduction to the sexy, fun-filled, fast paced romps that define Lori's core style. For long time Lori Foster fans, it also was a real treat to get to know even better some very familiar characters that we already loved from Run the Risk (like Logan, Pepper, Rowdy and Dash!), as well as get a surprise visit from a favorite character from a different Lori Foster series. Lori Foster's latest novel, Bare It All, was so good that I had to try hard not to read the whole book in one sitting. It was packed full of fast paced action, lots of steamy, romantic scenes, and it included Lori's classic brand of hunky, sexy, heroes. After reading the first book in this series, Run the Risk, last year, I was waiting with bated breath for this next installment. I must say that Lori more than delivered with this one. I loved the fact that Bare It All picked up at the precise point where Run the Risk ended, so any lingering questions that I had from the last book were all answered in this one.

Honorable, job focused, and protective Detective Reese Bareden was the perfect counterpart to the ever elusive and a little bit strange Alice Appleton (whom we first met in Trace of Fever). I could feel their chemistry from the first page of the book. Despite the suspense and intrigue resulting from the very serious situation they found themselves in, it was the steamy and sometimes funny interaction between Alice and Reese that made this story great. I also enjoyed the interactions with the supporting cast, especially Rowdy!

This book provided something for everyone. For first time Lori Foster readers, it was a great introduction to the sexy, fun-filled, fast paced romps that define Lori's core style. I liked that the book ends before the pain does. The ending is happy, but not because the pain goes away. It is happy because Fulda learns how to manage her pain, which is the best that we can hope for--and that lesson about pain management is going to help many people. Great read!

When she learns about Sapphire and then acquires some of her things, her compulsions begin to get worse, but it also leads her down a path to solving Sapphire's murder and making her matter. Along the way, she learns the ins and outs of the bad part of town, Neverland, from artist Flynt. Their time together creates a mutual attraction that mostly takes the backseat to solving Sapphire's murder. That really worked for me.

The fantastic part about The Butterfly Clues is that absolutely everything is connected, even when it seems unlikely. It is part thriller, part murder mystery, and an enthralling debut.

Recommended for young adult fans of mysteries and thrillers, as well as contemporary fiction. It does contain some violence and language.

The Ivy House (A Queensbay Novel) Wow Drea, I am literally blown away again. I love your books so much. I have been a reader of Harlequin romances for a long time and the romances in your books are phenomenal!! When I read Rough Harbor, I was hoping you would write a book with Chase as the main character. So when I started reading Ivy House I was so happy to see him. You could feel the connection between him and Phoebe from the first time that they met. I so loved their storyline. Even though there are sex scenes in both of your books, they are done tastefully and not too graphic for those of you out there that are wondering . You will not be disappointed in this book. If you continue with the Queensbay Novel series, I would love to see one with Lynn. She turned out to be a great friend for Phoebe. I also enjoyed the follow up of Noah and Caitlyn. I hope your future books let us the about their baby!!! For those of you wondering , these are stand alone books, but the characters intertwine with each other. I recommend this book for you to read, very enjoyable. Once I started I actually read in one day, didn't want to put it down!! Waiting on more Drea, keep them coming!!

this vacuum is actually better than the infomercial demonstraits. I purchased at bed bath and beyond because i wanted to see the item first. my first impression was that it seemed cheap, light and small. however after deciding to buy, i could not be happier! the first time i used this, i had to empty the dust cup 4 times! i didnt notice the fill line on the dust cup so i was actually over filling it and it still did not loose suction, so I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about, this thing has always sucked harder than any other vacuum I've ever used, so even if it did loose some suction its still the best on the market, hands down!

After about 3 months of vaccuming every weekend the dust cup is finally only about 1/4 full after vacuuming, so I know my carpet is much cleaner now. I've also noticed a lot less dust collecting on my end tables since using this.

The removable wand and canister mode is awesome, I can clean the stairs and edges of carpets, nooks and crannys so easily it's actually fun to vacuum. I thought the swivel head was just a gimmic at first, but after using it, I really like it.

It is a little top heavy, but thats nit picking, its never been an issue for me. cleaning the filters is easy, and emptying the dust cup is a little dirty, but really not a big deal since you can open the top of the cup also in order to empty/clean it out easily. Any of the cons are far outweighed by the cleaning ability and versitility of this vacuum.

Seriously, buy this vacuum, if you want clean carpets, there is nothing that works better.

The Minewt 650 is a great little light. You can recharge it easily at the office using a ubiquitous micro-usb cable plugged into your computer. Gone are the days of the bulky big batteries that are separate from the light, this is about as easy as it gets, while remaining one of the brightest lights available for the money. Last year I bought the Minewt 600. Functionally, the 650 is about the same although I guess it is a little brighter. The big advantage over the 600 is in the mount. For the 600, the mount was rushed out the door without testing on actual bikes. The 650 does a good job of fitting over the now almost standard handlebar size of 31.8 mm diameter. The 600 wouldn't work out of the box and required a lot of fiddling. I will be buying one of the new mounts to use for the older 600 since I still have that one as well. Kudos to Niterider for listening to customers and redesigning the product to have an adequate mount.

She's loves all thoughts that have to do with future dances and possible husbands. Then there is Persephone. She would much rather hunker down and devote her time to magical studies. She really doesn't want anything to do with finding a husband or dancing the night away in a dress that she can hardly breathe in.

Just as the season is about to begin the girls governess disappears. It's up to the girls to figure out what happened. Along the way the girls will discover that the kidnapping of their governess has much to do with the plot to take away Princess Victoria's power. Encountering many interesting people, including a mysterious Irish wizard and a boy that might just be husband worthy, the girls set off to solve the mystery.

I am a huge historical fiction fan as well as I love books that include magic. Putting the two together created an amazing book that I instantly fell in love with. I thought that the story was completely original and absolutely spellbinding. I was highly impressed with Marissa Doyle's ability to captivate my attention throughout the whole book. I don't think I actually put the book down once - which is a big thing for me! I thought it was really neat that the main characters were twins who really didn't have much in common. The girls' differences though made the book so interesting and it was really evident that they depended on each other for different strengths. Another really special thing about this book is that the story sticks. The story keeps ring ing through my head and I'm still loving it! I was really impressed with Marissa Doyle's debut novel and absolutely cannot wait for the sequel which will be out sometime next year (why o why does it have to be that far away!). It has definitely become a new favorite of mine and if you haven't had the opportunity to read the Bewitching Season I highly suggest you run and get it now.

As a first time Kindle owner I am overall thrilled with my new graphite K3 3G and the black leather lighted cover I purchased. The lighted cover is a must have and so useful. I didn't realize how often you need a light to read especially with the K3 not being backlit! I have used the light while reading in bed and also when the lights are getting low in the evening time when my hubby is watching TV. The light can be used without disturbing others around you. Since it is built into the case (and works off of the K3's battery) you never have to worry about reading in poor light.

The cover and K3 combined are a nice weight- not too heavy.

The quality of the leather is very nice and sturdy.

The inside is soft to protect the K3 screen.

The hinges that attach the Kindle to the cover feel strong and sturdy.

The cover can easily be folded back when reading and held in place by the attached band which also keeps the cover firmly closed when needed.

The cover is easy to hold allowing you to turn the pages easily on the K3.

The light seems well placed and falls nicely on the K3 screen.

The only drawback I can come up with is that the three sides of the Kindle are exposed. This could be a problem around water or sitting at the beach for example. I figure my iPod is also exposed on it's bottom where it's "plugs" go and I never had a problem. I hope I will never have a problem with the lighted cover in this respect either.

I hope this will help anyone who is on the fence about purchasing the cover. I am really thrilled with my lighted cover and can't help thinking what a brilliant idea it was for someone to design a cover with a light built into it.

Our 2 1/2 year old kept getting up at night and was trending earlier every week on wake-up times. 5:30 am is just too early! We asked for advice and a friend recommended this clock. From the very first day we used it, it was a lifesaver! We told him he couldn't get up until it was green, and if he'd awaken before then (we set it for 6:30 am), he'd stay laying down talking quietly to himself. It allowed us to get back to sleep. Then, when the light turned green, we'd hear excited squeals: "Green! It's GREEN!"

He absolutely loves his clock and presses the button to hear the spoken time each morning when he wakes up. I know that this clock was designed to remain useful for many years, including through learning to tell time, so we feel like it is well worth the purchase price.

As a side note, we bought this months ago and every morning we still hear excited "it's green!!" exclamations from his room. Only now, he tends to wake up between 6:30 am and 7:10 am. =)

UPDATE: it's now September 2011, a year later, and this still works for us. Our 3 1/2 year old stays in bed until the light turns green.
